On Jan. 2, 2010, we started the new year off with our hike on our mountain. In the photo are eleven pine cones. Every time we climb the mountain we pick up one new pine cone to add to our basket. This is how we know how many times we have climbed the mountain. For our last Christmas here, we hope to make a Christmas wreath with all our pine cones.
