We passed through an old colonial town of Guane. It was a small and very quiet little pueblo. We walked around the streets and visited with the people. This pueblo is several hundred years old.
We enjoy visiting with some of the local people when we are in the little pueblos. These men were quite entertaining. This was in the middle of the day, and these men were enjoying the free time.
Nidia is our wonderful employee that helps us in our mission home. We invited her family over for dinner, and we were very impressed with the whole family.
I have chosen the title "Hermona Patrona" because my husband has for many years affectionately called me La Patrona. In Spanish the word jefa means "she who is the boss". My husband, however, says that the word patrona refers to "she who commands". In other words, La Patrona is more powerful than La Jefa. Because we are serving on a mission, he now calls me "Hermana Patrona."
