Dressed in white.

This was a special baptism for President Hacking. He baptized Jose in a cold night in San Luis branch. The two sister missionaries were very pleased to have President Hacking with them.

Only cold, or almost freezing water.

This was the font in the San Luis branch. San Luis is about 9,500 feet in elevation. There was no heater to heat the water. Brrrrrrh!

The best part of zone conferences.

The missionaries think the best part of zone conference is the food. These Elders are in the Bucaramanga area.

Can be found in the gold museum.

We enjoy going to the gold museum and seeing the beautiful gold objects that are being preserved in the museum. This is from the Musica Indians.

The Legend of El Dorado.

This floating raft has a long story about it. This is made of gold and is from before the time of Colombus. The Spaniards took most of the gold figurines and melted them down. This was found years ago and is now in the Gold Museum.

Flooding in Chia.

This is showing the big problem Colombia that Colombia is having with flooding. This was in Chia, and they say the water could stay like this for one year.

Made his own birthday cake.

Elder Huita, one of our assistants, made his own birthday cake, but brought it to share with us.

One sharp family.

We attended the baptism of this family in the Alhambra Ward. This family found the church by checking on the internet.

Two new hermans arrived together.

We had two new sisters arrive ready to start working. Hermana Fuentealba is from Chile, and Hermana Rivero is from Uraguay. We have many missionaries from Chile, but Hermana Rivero is our first missionary from Uraguay.

Our two new US missionaries.

We welcomed Elder Hall from Preston, Idaho, and Elder Ure from Morgan, Utah, into the mission together. We love getting these new dynamic missionaries.
