The Kenedy Branch.

After church in the Kenedy Branch, we rounded up a few members for a group photo. We loved our Sunday with them.

Two Argentines.

Yep, President Hacking is an Argentine by heart, as he served his mission in Argentina, and Elder Centurion was one of our assistans, but is now returning home.

Not the Easter Bunny.

Sister Faundez appeared in her new green pajamas looking warm and comfortable. She went home the next day to Chile. We hope they will keep her warm in Santiago.

Our first group of missionaries.

These five young men were our first group of new missionaries that we received in the mission. We will never forget their excitment that radiated. We miss them already.

We have Elder Naumu from Utah, Elder Adams from Arizona, Elder Seaton from Georgia, Elders Burns and Fumanski from Utah.

Ten good missionaries going home.

This was a good group of missionaries going home. All of these Elders were zone leaders or assistants and we had two good sisters from Chile and Argentina. We have Elders from the USA, Colombia, Bolivia, and Argentina. We wish them well.

Saying Good-bye.

For two years, we have had the privilege of servig with our area president, Elder Nash, here with his wife Shelley. They will move on to a new assignment in Salt Lake City in July. We will miss working with them.

Branch president of San Gil.

President Plata, our branch president in San Gil, and his family stopped to pose for a photo for the blog. This man is very dedicated, and we appreciate him and his family.

The whole mission was together for this conference.

This was the first time that we had the whole mission together for a conference to hear Elder Walter Gonzales from the presidency of the seventies. It was an ordeal to organize and carry out the plans, but we all had a wonderful experience.

Three hundred hot dogs.

Before our conference started, we served three hundred hot dogs to our missionaries. Here Elder Peterson, and Sister Weidmer are helping with the serving. They were a great help along with the other senior missionaries.

Our sisters are always hungry.

Just like the Elders, the sister missionaries are alwlays hungry. This was a special time to have all the sisters together for our conference.

These hot dogs are the best.

All the Elders love eating hot dogs, and they are always easy to please with these dogs.

The whole mission together.

Even though it is hard to see, we did have the whole mission together for the conference with Elder Gonzales. One needs a magnifing glass to see anyone.

The many faces of a zone conference.

We have 9 zones in the mission, and we travel around to all of them to give a zone conference. They are always full of teaching moments.

Don't think to hard about your task Elder Ramiriz. We know you can do it.

Elder Cea made the basket. Way to go Elder.

Dancers in all ages.

While walking the streets of Duitama, I passed in front of the Cathedral, and there was some type of promotion. Two young girls in pink and black were doing a flashy dance, but the older lady was watching them and would do the same movements. It was more fun to watch the older lady.

Too much rain.

This year has been a wet year here in the Colombia. We saw many views like this one along the way from Duitama to Bogota. Many homes were flooded, and families displaced.

Sunset in Paipa.

Sunsets are beautiful all over the world, and for sure in Colombia. This was a view from our hotel, and a good memory for us.

Birthdays are sweet.

When birthdays come around, the missionaries get their own Snickers candy bar. They love those birthdays. Both Sister Wolosko and Sister Nareda, bother from Argentina and companions, celebrated their birthday on the same month.
