Yes, this is a paradise here in Colombia.

These were all beautiful flowers that were on the grounds of our hotel just outside of Barbosa.

Painting of the orignal Villa de Leyva.

This is a painting of the old pueblo Villa de Leyva many years ago. The pueblo was established in the fifteen hundreds. They had trees around the plaza and every week there was a large farmers market like what is shown here. Today it is void of trees, but has hundreds of turists visit it every year.

Villa de Leyva of today.

Most of the Duitama zone.

After a yummy lunch, these elders are waiting to go back to work. They can not decide if is hot or cold.

An old kiln for lime.

This old lime kiln was a beautiful structure. We had to stop and take a photo, but the owner said it has not been in use for the past 60 years. It is outside of the little pueblo Nobsa near Duitama.

The latest hair style for donkeys.

This little fellow is carrying an extra load with all his hair. He was eating grass along side of the road.

The office tie.

The office elders bought look a like ties for all the elders in the office. I guess this is so if anyone is in the office with a different tie, we know they shouldn't be there.

Ready for Christmas.

This is the most beautiful poinsetta plant. I bought it the first week of November, and the photo was taken the last week of March. Each little cluster of red leaves has a little set of blossoms ready to produce more red leaves. I didn't know I had a green thumb, or maybe it is a red one.
