Lots of water in 2011.

The rivers were full with all the water we have had this year, but it did make for beautiful scenery.

Heavy, heavy hang over thy poor head.

Sister Boulter was way to close for comfort to this large boulder hanging between these two larger boulders. It gets confussing between Boulters and boulders.

One big tree trunk.

This was once part of a huge tree in a park in the middle of San Gil. The tree got diseased and had to be cut down. It was hollow in the middle.

The Cathedral of San Gil.

This was just one of the many beautiful cathedrals in Colombia. Many have gold, but the majority of the gold of Colombia was stolen by the Spaniards.

Oh yes, it is dangerous.

We see this site way too often. Young boys on their bikes hold on to the back of a truck to get pulled up the hill. There was a lot of traffic that day. It was so dangerous.

San Gil, here we come.

Elder and Sister Boulter accampanied us to San Gil. The ride is long but it is so beautiful. We were glad the Bloulters got to visit San Gil.

The real returned missionaries.

The two young men really did return to the mission for a visit. We enjoyed our short visit with them. They were two excellent missionaries.

On the road to Barbosa.

We love these waterfalls along the road going to Barbosa. I think they were bigger than normal.

The primary of Yopal.

These darling children are in the older class of children in the Yopal branch.

The children of the Suba Ward.

Children are cute all over the world. These children were enjoying hot chocolate and pan at a ward activity.

The Suba ward.

We attended a fun activity with the members and missionaries of Suba in Bogota. It was fun for all ages.

What are you doing?

Our mission doctor, Dr. Weidmer, told President Hacking to do these stretches before he walks in the morning. We hope they help.

Our newest missionary.

Sister Quispe is short in statue, but she is one dynamic sister. She comes to us from Bolivia, and we are thrilled to have her.
